The anchor restaurant of Sayulita

In a mall they always refer to the largest tenant as the anchor tenant... for example, a Nordstroms or a Best Buy depending on the mall. Well, Don Pedro's is the anchor tenant of Sayulita. They have the best location, literally right on the beach, the they are the biggest restaurant in the town... they are the anchor. Best View in Sayulita - Good food too

When I'm looking for a place to eat at a beach town in Mexico, I have a few things that I look for: Good fish tacos Cold beers Good margaritas Atmosphere Bonus points are given for: Good views Live music Other quality food items (tacos al pastor, carne asada, etc.) Good Guac I recently visited Sayulita (for the uninititiated, Sayulita is a great beach town about 45 minutes up the coast from Puerto Vallarta in the state of Nayarit) and ate at Don Pedro's. … more

Best Carne Asada I've ever had

I have no idea how the season and tenderirze their Carne Asada (maybe I don't want to know?). I don't really care, either way, it's the best Carne Asada I've ever had. The location of the restaurant is outstanding; the views from the upper level are especially nice. If there are waves, you can watch the surfers only a few hundred yards away. It looks like a great little break.
