I tried to test out RFD last night. They were very nice, but it took them 20 minutes to bring me a lemon aid, and then another 15 by the time they asked us to order. By then, my friend and I were both starving, and became increasingly weary of how long our meal was going to take. The prices were a very high, so the risk of spending a lot of money on something that was going to take a while and might not be great (for the price.) They were nice enough to comp my lemonade. My favorite part of living in Los Angeles is the amazing vegan cuisine (I'm not even vegan). One of the very best places I have been to so far is Real Food Daily. Although I frequent the one in West Hollywood, there is a location in Santa Monica as well. As is true with many vegan restaurants, the substitutes here taste better than the real deal!
