Great local bar and restaurant. They are known for their navy grog cocktails (mai tai with an extra floater of dark rum and crushed ice). Go in November when they have 2-for-1 navy grogs but watch out, these cocktails are strong!

great for an active bar scene with good food, broad menu, and reasonably priced wine list. Don't come here if you want an intimate dinner because it gets really lively and loud especially thurs-sat.

The classic local restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Solid, high quality food. There's a wide variety of fish options, great steaks, as well as a quality wine list that's very reasonably priced (you can find wine here for 30% less than at some other establishments in town). The atmosphere has a casualness that is very appropriate for a beach town like Manhattan.
