I was presently surprised by this restaurant. This is located in Rolling Hills mall where we go to watch movies. We have been going to another Japanese restaurant before the movies, but the service at that place is sooooooo slow that I vowed not to go. We saw this place driving into the strip mall and decided to give it a try.
It was quite empty with only one group of Caucasians at the sushi bar. I'm not trying to be a racist, but seeing some Japanese at a Japanese restaurant some how gives me a little assurance that the food might be authentic. My husband and I were a bit skeptical, but we didn't have any other choice and we didn't feel like driving somewhere else.
The prices were really reasonable and fish was fresh. I started with my usual and slowly worked my way up as I found the sushi was pretty decent. Uni was good and my husband said Spanish Mackerel was good too. Good sign. I was surprised that they even had natto. That passes as pretty authentic Japanese restaurant, in my opinion. :-)

@raina1up, Try going on Fri. The sushi chef told us that they have been going to the fish market less frequently after they lost a lot of customers after the new AMC got added to Del Amo mall. Supposedly, they get fresh fish on Friday in prep for the weekend. We used to go to Iccho. But the service is soooooo slow!
