Menudo ain't Beef

We hit C Street surf. Drove from LA. Waves sucked. Water was cold. Hungry as all hell. Went to this joint. Felt like soup to warm up.

Menudo is cow innards. Not Beef. I think they even gave me a hoof to knaw on too.

Wow, your menudo was made of actual meat and not tripe? And most places usually fish out the hooves before serving it to customers. This sounds like no bueno. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't know if you have any Poquito Mas around you, but I hear they serve tortilla soup on the house with a $5 purchase on rainy days!
