Downtown MB has Uncle Bill's and Koffee Kart and El Porto has the Local Yolk. All consistent with just about anything you'd want for breakfast or lunch. But most of the time going to breakfast means throwing on a hat and walking around the corner so you stay within your area. Local Yolk has great food and when it's busy, a place to sit outside and have coffee while you wait. Does anybody ever leave this place still hungry? It's not foo-foo food, just real breakfast with plenty of …

Great spot, 4DK and North End own most of my visits but luckily mom loves it so we hit it up Mother's Day for a change. Great omelettes!

this place used to be a frequent stop for me in North Manhattan, but since 4dk and North End are there now, i don't get into Local Yolk much
