Old West ambience with a gluten free menu.

I recently was in Scottsdale, Arizona and my friends took me out to dinner at the Tonto Bar and Grill in Cave Creek. The menu is fantastic (online viewing) and they are serious about their gluten free offerings and the preparation of them. The ambience is historic as you can read the following:

The rustic, charming Tonto Bar & Grill overlooks the 11th hole of the scenic Rancho Mañana Golf Course, with spectacular views of the Sonoran Desert Foothills and Tonto National Forest. Diners can enjoy the view from outdoor or enclosed patios, or in one of two dining rooms.

The restaurant is part of what was the Rancho Mañana Dude Ranch in the 1940s, once the largest in the state. Co-owners Eric Flatt and John Malcolm opened the restaurant in December of 1994 with the goal of preserving this Arizona ambience and history.

It's fun to go to a unique and special place and to be treated special as well. Hope you get a chance to enjoy what I did.
