Ugos Wine Bar is located in Culver City, CA. They sell wine by the glass and also by the bottle, but most notably, they allow you purchase 1 oz portions of the wines using a pre-paid card. Here's how it works: the wines are dispersed around the bar in various machines, each machine with a slot for your card. Slide your card into one of the machines and place your glass under the spigget attached to a particular bottle. Push the button corresponding to that bottle and a 1 oz portion is dispensed into your glass.
The bar also has descriptions and prices for each bottle, so you know what you're getting. The 1 oz portions range in price from 71 cents to around 10 dollars.

I recently hit the Ugo wine bar for a friend's birthday, and loved the wine selection and laid back atmosphere. We had a group of five, which is probably the most you'd be able to keep track of in there; it gets a little loud and crowded. There is a bar and a few tables to sit and talk at, but the fun part of Ugo is walking around and trying all the different wines.
