The Song A Little Bit Stronger by Sara Evans is for anyone who has ever gone through heartbreak or a difficult break-up. If you know how it feels when your heart feels like a sack of rocks, when the best place to be is in the shower because the tears blend in with the water hitting your face, and the hardest part of your day is getting out of the bed, then this song is for you! I’m experiencing my first heartbreak and how it feels to cope and move on with life after a break-up.
At 22, I never even imagined myself being in love and wanting to spend the rest of my life with someone, but when Love is around all bets are off and things happen that you never thought were possible. This song truly defines the concept that time heals everything.
As Sara says, “tell yourself that you’ll be OK, even on your weakest days.” I say this to myself every time I wake up and I really do feel myself getting a little bit stronger! I realize I’m just waiting for my heart to catch up with my head. I know in my head the relationship would never last, but getting my heart to that place was difficult!
Thanks for the song Sara!
