Rock Island Rock or Daytrotter brings good music to small town

Rating:

Rock Island is part of the Quad Cities, so it's not in the middle of nowhere. But it's not NYC, LA or Chicago for sure. Yet multiple times per week, Daytrotter in Rock Island has rising indie bands stop by to record live tracks and then they post them for free. There's also nice little stories and pictures to go with the music. Sometimes the bands stick around an play at a nearby pizza joint.
