When Karaoke Gets Real

Alongside the Cure's "Let's Go to Bed" and "Rock this Town" by Stray Cats, this song points to one of my earliest memories of MTV, which is clearly a very different space 25 years down the road. What I recall most specifically about the video for this song was the narrative imagery and the feeling that you were watching a small movie populated with individuals acting out roles.
