"Don't You Want Me" is a single by British synthpop group The Human League, released from their third album Dare on 27 November 1981. It is the band's best known and most commercially successful recording to date, topping the Billboard Hot 100 in the US on July 3, 1982 (where it stayed for three weeks), and was the Christmas number one in the UK where it sold over 1,400,000 copies, making it the 25th most successful single in UK Singles Chart history.[1]

There's a lot of great duet songs one can sing to while karaoking, but this is perhaps one of the  coolest.   There's two distinct parts, and there's never any doubt as to which part is yours to sing, and which part belongs to the other person.    If you're doing the boy-girl thing, it's a lot easier than, say, "Summer Nights," by John Travolta and O.LJ.   (I never get that one right.)  I think the mid-20 to 45 year old age bracket dominates the …
