An emotion-laden rock group

I really like Snow Patrol mainly because they have a lot of power with their music. I listen to their songs and I feel energized, so to speak. It's like watching a movie where you really feel for the characters and get into their heads. Between the lyrics and the build up of the music it becomes very moving. One of my favorite lines is from the song Make This Go On Forever, "First kiss and the first time that I felt connected to anything"

Final Straw was a good album, but their latest, Eyes Open I think shows the band's mature progression. Overall, I love 'em!

Eyes Open was my introduction to Snow Patrol and I've been hooked since. Their songs make me feel a bit sad sometimes, or moreso nostalgic, but I know what you mean about them being able to get you energized. Their songs are like modern power ballads. Another band that I feel is similar to Snow Patrol is Muse, though they'll get you even more amped up with their energy!
