The Devil Went Down to Georgia is a special song on three distinct levels: 1. It's a great song. Well-produced, and merges rock music with wicked fiddle solos for a unique sound. 2. It's a great karaoke song. It has just enough of a cheese factor and plenty of rock to make for an entertaining performance, provided the singer knows the song well and can keep up with the fast pace. 3. It's a great Guitar Hero song. As the final song versus the final boss, Satan himself, the song is uniquely suited for a solo challenge. A truly enjoyable three minutes and thirty-seven seconds.

The Devil Went Down to Georgia is one of those songs that always gets me moving in my seat. I've never tried to rock it at Karaoke...because I can't air fiddle that well. *sigh* Maybe someday....

I always thought that that Johnny was pretty ballsy to challenge the Devil and his demons to a fiddle-off.  At least he beat them!

And I had no idea that this was a great karaoke song, or that it is in Guitar Hero.  Thanks for the heads up!
