Not Quite as Emerald as the City Itself

Seattle has a history in baseball that is somewhat unique. Like most of the other west coast teams, they had a history in minor league baseball before trying to land a Major League Baseball team when westward migration was all the rage. Seattle tried to pick up a team in 1965, when Cleveland Indians owner William Daley tried to move the team out to Seattle.
