A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila was simply groundbreaking when it first aired. The show was the highest-profile dating show that included bisexual and lesbian females, thus showing inclusiveness towards all segments of the population (race and sexual orientation).

Asides from its social implications, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila totally rocked my world. I was addicted to the show, often watching the same episode numerous times throughout the week until a new one aired. My parents despised it at first, but my mid-season they, too, had fallen in love with Tila as she searched for her true love. So, not only was it a good show, but it brought my family together!

All I can say is I was happy when her first choice didn't work out, because it led to MTV creating A Shot at Love II with Tila Tequila, equally addictive to both me, my family, and friends!
