Beavis and Butt-head are, as the preshow disclaimer reads, "dumb, crude, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive fools. But for some reason the little wienerheads make us laugh." Amen to that.
Mike Judge's classic 90's cartoon plays as more as a social commentary about America's youth and it's decline below the surface. On top it's about two chuckling teen dimwits who are on a quest for sex, metal music and TV. Part of what is called the "animation ghetto" and it certainly had more good episodes then bad.
