Brilliant, As Always

Family Guy has made its fame for it's mixed reactions, some people taking a huge liking to it and some people taking a pure hatred of it. There are of course the inbetweeners who don't hate it, but don't love it either. I for one, love it and have loved it since the beginning. Most shows of this kind tend to lose momentum around season three and start to become slightly repetitive, but this isn't the case with Family Guy. It's one of the only shows I can think of that has kept the same no holds barred formula and has stayed consistently hysterical. To the fans of the series, season 6 contains a two parter episode which I think all Family Guy fans have hoped for. Stewie Kills Lois and Lois Kills Stewie brings the life long plans of Stewie to life as he finally gets the chance to Kill Lois.

Episode 1: Blue Harvest: This had its own separate release as we see the Griffin Family caught in a blackout, so Peter tells the story of Star Wars Episode IV. Family Guy characters take famous roles from the Star Wars universe, such as Peter as Han Solo and Chris as Luke Skywalker. Oh, and quite predictably Stewie as the evil Darth Vader.

Episode 2: Movin' Out (Brian's Song): Brian reluctantly moves in with Jillian but to help him out Stewie moves in with them. On the other side Meg and Chris get jobs in the convenience store.

Episode 3: Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking On Air: Joe, feeling more and more put down by his disability decides to undergo a leg transplant. Little did the boys and Connie know that having the leg transplant would change Joe for the worst.

Episode 4: Stewie Kills Lois: Yes, you read right, Stewie does succeed in his matricidal plan and finally kills Lois, but at what cost?

Episode 5: Lois Kills Stewie: After Lois returns to Quahog Stewie decides to proceed on his other plan to become supreme ruler of the world. Lois can't allow people to suffer at the hands of her own baby and she decides he must be stopped.

Episode 6: Padre De Familia: After Peter becomes the ultimate patriot he convinces his work to do an illegal immigrant check. Little did Peter know that he isn't actually an American and was actually born in Mexico.

Episode 7: Peter's Daughter: After recovering from a coma, Meg falls for one of the Doctors but after nearly losing Meg once he's determined not to do it again.

Episode 8: McStroke: After accepting an offer of a life time supply of Burgers, Peter's determined to get his fill. From eating too many Peter suffers a stroke and is left completely numb on the left side of his body.

Episode 9: Back To The Woods: James Woods returns to Quahog determined to get revenge on Peter for what he did. Stealing his wallet and his identity, James Woods becomes Peter Griffin, but what's Peter going to do to get back at James?

Episode 10: Play It Again Brian: Feeling their marriage has hit a snag, Peter and Lois take Brian's offer to go with him for a relaxing vacation at Martha's Vineyard. However, as Peter gets drunk, Brian ends up spending more time with Lois and even tries to have sex with her. Meanwhile, Herbert babysits Meg, Chris and Stewie back home.

Episode 11: The Former Life Of Brian: Brian shockingly discovers that he has an illegitimate son who's the typical rebellious teen. Brian's determined to make up for lost time and become the worlds greatest dad.

Episode 12: Long John Peter: Chris falls in love with a vet intern and unwittingly takes relationship advice from the worst possible source. His Dad. On the other side Peter steals a parrot from the vets and decides that he wants to be a Pirate.

A brilliant season that has some of the funniest one liners and mini clips of the shows history. I would highly recommend it to any long running fan of Family Guy.
