Fawlty Towers follows the exploits of Basil and Sybil Fawlty.  Basil (John Cleese) is a crude and overbearing man who's rude to his guests and berates the hired help.  Sybil (Prunella Scales) is Basil's better half, a wife who's always riding Basil driving him up a wall.  Manuel (Andrew Sachs) is the bellhop/waiter who bears the brunt of Basil's abuse ans his poor command of the English language is fodder for comic relief.  Polly (Connie Booth) is the maid who's also an artist.  …
