Cooking Skill Not Required?

How do some of these people get on the show when they can't cook? I realize that there needs to be some diversity - yet even the line cooks have a hard time keeping up. This current season (Fall 2010) has the most bizarre people on it (like Sabrina and Raj). If I didn't know better, I would say these two are "plants" to add drama to the show. With that said, I still watch the show, week after week.

This is one of my favorite shows of all time. Ramsey is so great, and he is able to really push everyone to be their best in an environment that is stressful and fast-paced. Even though he is a little harsh, I think that his standards are very high and he expects perfection. Can't we all learn from that?

Watching This Show is like Stabbing Yourself in the Face with a Banana - In a Good Way

It's like rubbernecking at a car crash, but in an obviously crappy restaurant with obviously crabby patrons and everyone is yelling. In other words, it's a really funny show. Also, everyone always says G-Rams is "really cute," and I don't understand it. I'm not a fan of botox by any means, but I want to stab him in the forehead with pumped up needles. Love you Rams!

Don't get bent...

Is it just me or does Gordon get more fiery with each new season? Ok, so we get the play on the title of Hell's Kitchen in NYC and also hell being hot and as the saying goes "if its too hot get out of the kitchen"...but the show is not called Satan's Lair. The Brits already have a show called "The Devil's Den" and they are even nicer than Gordon. While I don't get into the reality show business and I think my life is far more interesting than what they put up for these shows … more

One of many guilty pleasures.

I used to love Hell's Kitchen. Watching a crazy chef yell random insults at inspiring culinary students was the best way to end a long day. "You doughnut!" or "Come here, you little gremlin!" quickly became common phrases among my friends and me. But then I went to France and visited some cousins.
