Hell's Kitchen is an American reality TV show starring renowned British chef Gordon Ramsay. It first debuted in May 2005, and is scheduled to run for up to at least 7 seasons. The show places aspiring chefs in competition against one another in teams. When the teams become small enough in size, they are merged together, and chefs work individually while competing directly against one another. The top prize is usually a top chef position at a new restaurant. Hell's Kitchen is modeled after a series by the same title in the UK and features a similar format for competition.
How do some of these people get on the show when they can't cook? I realize that there needs to be some diversity - yet even the line cooks have a hard time keeping up. This current season (Fall 2010) has the most bizarre people on it (like Sabrina and Raj). If I didn't know better, I would say these two are "plants" to add drama to the show. With that said, I still watch the show, week after week.

Ramsey is known for his demand for perfection and his colorful language as the chefs either crack under the pressure or rise to the challenge. The chefs are divided into Red and Blue teams. They must pass a series of challenges. … more
It's like rubbernecking at a car crash, but in an obviously crappy restaurant with obviously crabby patrons and everyone is yelling. In other words, it's a really funny show. Also, everyone always says G-Rams is "really cute," and I don't understand it. I'm not a fan of botox by any means, but I want to stab him in the forehead with pumped up needles. Love you Rams!
