Norse mythology tells of a god called Loki, who was the god of mischief. In the legend, Loki's antics eventually anger the other gods to the point where they want him dead, but in Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, things are less gruesome, and more interesting. The other gods trap Loki in the body of a child and banish him to Earth. If he collects enough evil spirits while he's there, he will be welcomed back into his home, and so Loki comes up with a perfectly logical plan to get what he needs: he sets up the Enjaku Detective Agency, a private investigation company that specializes in solving crimes of a paranormal nature. Along with Mayura, a high school girl who is desperate to start her career as a famous paranormal investigator, and Ryusuke, a housekeeper with a serious devotion to Loki that stems from mysterious origins, the agency investigates everything from demonic birds to possessed dolls. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
