Next is a reality television competition dating show produced by Kallissa Productions. Each show consists of two contestants who go on a short date with one another. In most cases, one is a male with five female daters, with the other contestant being female with five male daters. The pattern may also be reversed. There are also homosexual and bisexual contestants in some shows.

The show originally aired in April, 2005 and has had over 160 episodes as of October, 2008.

One of very few MTV shows I hate.

If you're like me, then you probably don't mind watching every reality show out there at least a few times a week. That's not to say I don't like scripted shows; quite the contrary!
