At long-last, fans of THE GOLDEN GIRLS can take home the hilarious first season of their favourite sitcom. The groundbreaking series earned over 50 Emmy Award nominations during it's run, including awards for each of the main players.    Picture it: Miami, 1985. This first season release is great. The episodes have been reviewed and listed ten times over, so there's no need to do that again in this review. I agree, this is great, it's what fans have been waiting for. My only question is why is it so skimpy on the bonus features? The fashion commentary by Joan and Melissa Rivers is good, funny, but ... why just that? I'd have liked to see some interviews with three actresses who are still around and able to speak, but we get none of that. I feel this makes …
