The View is an American daytime talk show created by Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters. The show, which airs on ABC, is co-hosted by Walters and several other women, who currently include: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sheri Shepherd, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. The Emmy Award-winning show is famous for covering hot topics, ranging from politics to current films, and for having played an important role in discussing many events around the 2008 US presidential election.

The View debuted in August 1997 and is currently in its 12th season.

Dang, Whoopi just told off an audience member whose phone rang during the show. PMS much? Well, I bet this entire show runs offa the hosts' menstruation cycles. I'd wait for the segment about why men should never be on Facebook, but... *clicky*

I used to hate it. Then I became unemployed.

I used to hate The View. I wondered, why would anyone want to sit there and watch four or five women yak and yak for 60 minutes? But then I became unemployed and everything changed. Now, I can't go a day without watching them discuss, argue, laugh, dispute, scream, point, cry, and sometimes just talk over things with one another. I just don't know what it is that sucked me in!
