Diablo Cody for the Adult Audience

I have to admit I was a bit weary of watching a weekly show that Diablo Cody was a part of. While I enjoyed Juno, the excessive teen lingo and quirkyness overload was something that even at 20 I had a hard time understanding. But United States of Tara is nothing like Juno. New Showtime Series "United States of Tara" is original AND entertaining

Showtime has a pretty good track record with hit shows like Weeds, Dexter, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl so when I saw the previews for their new series about Tara, a forty-something wife and mother of two who suffers from Disassociative Identity Disorder (aka multiple personality disorder) I was committed to tuning in.
