Blue Dragon was Mistwalker's first big step out into the gaming industry. The game was at it's core a fun throw-back to earlier RPG's. It played like many RPG's of the past and really had an Dragon Quest feel. The series has a lot of charm and should be fun to anyone who likes these kinds of games. In all honestly Blue Dragon was pretty much Hironobu Sakaguchi doing Dragon Quest though. But personally that's a really good thing for me. I feel that this idea was lost on some westerners …
