More like a final nightmare online!!!

When I first played this game around the time it first came out in the US, I thought I finally found the MMO for me.  At first, its really easy to level on your own for about the first 10 levels, but things drastically changed after that.  It started to require a team/group to continue on in the game or at least to level up since there was no way anyone could beat any of the mobs/monsters on their own.  And because of this, the nightmare begins.  I was fortunate in the first few months to have a group of friends online to play with and level up together.  But after they started changing their classes(had to start from level 1 again) I had to look for groups on my own.  Because I was a Dark Knight, this made it extremely hard to do.  I was in town for hours looking for groups to join up with but no one wants you unless you're one of the few required classes in a group (like a tank or a healer).  So I had no choice but to do quests or earn gils/money during this time, which is about 99% of the time.  But god damn most of their main quests required groups to do too.  And some of their quests are so lame and time consuming, you almost felt like the developers at square/enix had a bet on how boring and frustrating they could make a quest.  They had this one quest where you had to feed a bird every day game time(1 hr in real life) for 4 days.  So you'd feed the bird, and just waited for the next hour to feed the bird again.  I don't know about you, but thats not my idea of a fun quest.  So I tried to go out and solo on my own and needless to say, got rocked/owned immediately.  Keep in mind I fought the weakest enemies/mobs I could that gave me experience and lets just say I was success about 60% of the time.  And I almost forgot to mention, once you die you lose 10% of your exp you earned.  This could be very frustrating since you can delevel in the game too!!!  So you can literally be maxed level,  75,  and die all the way back to level 1.  NO JOKE!!!

All I can say is if you're looking for a game thats frustrating, forces you to sit in town shouting LFG (looking for group) for hours, and feed a bird once every hour to complete a quest, THEN THIS GAME'S FOR YOU!!!
