I didn't get introduced to the Halo franchise until much later than most people. HALO had been out for several years and HALO 2 had been released for over a year by the time I purchased an Xbox and sat down to play the campaign of HALO. After beating that, it was about six months later before I had an opportunity to sit down and play through the campaign of HALO 2. I understand that for most Xbox games nowadays, the big thing that many gamers look for is the multiplayer game play. I'm not …

When it comes to the Halo games, there are always those who really love them and those who really hate them.  The people who really love Halo are quite passionate about it.  Those who hate Halo seem to only hate it for one reason: It's incredibly popular.  And yes, sometimes we can rightfully be skeptical of something being popular, but Halo haters seem to use the games popularity as an excuse not to think.  If it sold 500,000 copies instead of 5,000,000 you'd have people …

Halo 3...I have trouble knowing where it is I'm supposed to begin with this game other than to say it is the greatest let-down of my gaming "career." Now, to start off I am in no way a Halo hater. In fact I have been a fan ever since the original game was released on the PC (I have since acquired a Xbox 360 and the original Xbox version of that game and its sequel). In fact I was so excited by the hype of the third game that I went ahead and pre-ordered the $150 Legendary Edition of the game. The …

Pros: Solid gameplay, more of the goodness, amazing multiplayer     Cons: Short campaign, no backstory     The Bottom Line: Halo 3 is a must-have game. While the campaign is little more than a tutorial, the multiplayer will give this game legs for years.      Ah yes, the most hyped game of the year, Halo 3. What is there to say about the most highly anticipated game of all time? Does it live up to the hype? Is it a thrilling conclusion …
