Great plot, but it is WAY too short

I bought this game, and wasn't expecting a great story because the last game was so bad, but I loved the story of this game. I was having a great time with the game. . .and then it ended. I had just played a few hours, and it was done.

Story-Several seniors at an all-girl boarding school have received threats warning them to leave the school or pay the penalty. After two girls "pay the penalty" you, as Nancy Drew, are contacted to come help solve these threats. You move into one of the dorms, but you are undercover so everyone thinks you are really a student.

Graphics-Everything was realistic except for two things. The mouths were really bad. They matched the words, but they barely opened, so it really didn't look like the characters were talking. Also, it snows at one point in the game, and while some liked that feature, I found it looked like little white dots on the screen, and it didn't look real at all.

Sound-The musical soundtrack was limited, and although the songs were great, there were only about 4-5, and they got old quickly. The voice acting was good, though.

Gameplay-Thank goodness HERinteractive (the company that makes these games) didn't do anything in third person this game! All of it was in first person, and, as always, it was point-and-click. You have a cell phone this game, and it is really nice. You can take pictures, call people, get texts, set an alarm for when you sleep, and you can even change the color and ringtones. I loved this feature. I have to say something negative, though. There is only one location. A dorm. There is inside and outside, but it is only one dorm. In all, there are about 10 little rooms. It wasn't big at all.

Fun-Now I gave the fun meter 5 stars, because as far as I'm concerned this is one of the best games HER has produced in terms of fun. I loved the air hockey, darts, and snack shop. I loved the puzzles. It was a blast!

Length-This is the HUGE downfall. The first time I played this game (on SENIOR DETECTIVE the "hard level") I finished it in about 9 hours. Replaying it takes a little less than 3 hours. I timed myself. In the first experience I played a LOT of air hockey, so that was probably 30-40 minutes, and I got stuck on one puzzle for about an hour, so that takes away from the length. I took off 2 points because it is almost the shortest game in the series (the shortest being the first game "Secrets Can Kill"). I was shocked when it ended. I thought for sure it was going to go on.

So, yeah, it's a really fun game, but unless you can get it for $10 or less, don't get it. It's way too short of an experience.
