I don't play much rougelikes so I appreciated the option of keeping your items upon death. I still stuck with the tradition and had fun with the game anyways. Most of the items you use are common to find, it is the equipment and money that you would want to store.

So far I like the game. The partner system helps in crowds, but if they die it counts for you as well which I find more annoying than the actual punishment. Thankfully you can switch characters it is really the moments you caught off guard that get to you.
