The game's six starting characters are Shrek, Princess Fiona, Thelonius, the Big Bad Wolf, Monsieur Hood and Pinocchio. You can unlock three additional characters -- the Gingerbread Man, the Dragon and film villain Lord Farquaad -- but you'll have to defeat each first. Each fighter has three basic moves -- punch, kick and block -- and three special moves. For example, press Left, Down, Right and A to have Shrek belch forth a fireball. Bad manners, sure, but good fightin' strategy. There are three difficulty levels and a Practice Mode in which you get to battle fairy-tale jabronis.
