Classical music is making its comeback people. And it’s totally awesome.
There is this person, his name is Walt Ribeiro. I “met him” on twitter. At first he was just a friend of a friend, and mentioned my name in a tweet in response to a tweet I had sent to another friend. No big deal.
On a completely separate note, this summer I became completely obsessed with all that is
Lady Gaga. So when I saw this gem of a youtube video posted on Perez Hilton, I was completely intrigued.
Pop music for orchestra. Need I say more? It was totally amazing and fun to listen to.
So it turns out, my friend of a friend Walt Ribeiro arranged this brilliant rendition of Gaga’s Poker Face. Walt is a composer and a music teacher, broadcasting his lessons on Ustream and Revision 3. He self-published his CD ‘1.1’ that was written for full orchestra.
