Like Woot for Wine: Great for Value Conscious Wine Drinkers

If you are wondering what the current economy is doing to wine sales, one indicator is the rise of online wine liquidators. I just heard about Wines 'Til Sold Out and it is a great concept. They advertise "Wines Every Day at 30% to 70% Off". They only sell one wine at a time (between 1 and 3 per day) and the wines usually sell out in a few hours. I joined recently and the values look pretty compelling. I am receiving emails with the featured wine and am also following them on Twitter @wtso_com. I have yet to purchase anything, so I will update this when I do. Despite not having purchased anyting, I am pretty excited about the concept. Now is a great time to be bargain hunting in the wine world.

Update: I am no longer following @wtso_com on Twitter becuase they send way to many tweets. Between the time I went to sleep and the time I woke up, I received 14 tweets from them referring to 1 offering. There were several tweets thanking people for mentions and providing suggestions of who to follow and other ones with tasting notes (who wants anise in their wine?). I don't know why they would use Twitter this way.
