The winery itself was established in 1885 and is one of the region's oldest. Wines may be purchased online, on-site, or in a select group of retailers. Their deli sells a wide assortment of cheeses, breads, sandwiches, and other deli-style foods sold by weight.

I'm a big fan of V. Sattui - it's a fabulous place to take in all the wonderful things about Napa - food, wine and scenery. My former roommate befriended a guy who worked there and we got lots of delicious wine. However, I talked it up big time to some girlfriends visiting from the East Coast and we were let down! V Sattui's wines are great. They have a good reputation, and there's always a crowd of people taking wine flights at the winery or at outlets in and around neighboring towns. But what drew me here in my college days at UC Davis was their deli sandwiches. They were absolutely divine.
