When the Dog Bites, when the Bee Stings, when I'm feeling SAD, I make a Lunch List of my Favorite Things and then I don't feellll SOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
1
Soccer
The greatest sport in the World! Soccer is my biggest hobby. from playing soccer to watching soccer to reading about soccer and arguing about soccer, the sport takes up a lot of time in my life and that doesn't bother me at all.
See the full review, "Play reviews in Soccer?".
2
The Office
This show is Amazing. Every character is so great with each of their personalities! I love Dwight Schrewt and here's a great speech by him.

3
Xbox 360
XBOX 360 + Call of Duty + 50" Plasma = Best way to waist half your day! One thing on the XBOX 360 that I haven't actually signed up for but will do shortly because it is amazing is being able to stream High Def movies through my XBOX 360 via Netflix
4
Vans Authentics
I can't remember the last pair of shoes I bought that weren't Vans. The shoes are comfortable and cheap and everyone loves them. It's gotten to the point where I don't even try them on anymore. I just walk into the store, say the color and size, pay and walk out.
6
History
The History Channel is my favorite channel on TV. As a person who loves history I can't go to sleep at night without watching a little History Channel in my day. My favorite shows are Cities of the Underworld and Modern Marvels.
7
iPhone 3Gs
One word, AMAZING!!! That's all.
8
The Count of Monte Cristo
The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite movies. I've seen the original and loved it but I feel this remake is a great one. It's a classic film about adventure and vengeance. When you throw in Jim Caviezel you've got a great movie. My favorite scene montage is when the main character Edmond Dantes is being taught by the Priest in prison.
9
Green Street Hooligans
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a soccer hooligan? Well Green Street Hooligans does this for you. At first I thought the movie might not be that great because I felt they may have cast Elijah Wood in the wrong part, but I was wrong. He does a great job in this film!
10
Guinness
TO ARTHUR!!!! It's like a meal, but it's a dang good meal. Guinness is great here in the States but you haven't tasted Guinness until you've tried it in Ireland. It's true what they say, it's better Ireland!
11
Trader Joe's Mandarin Orange Chicken
This stuff probably isn't that good for you but its tastes amazing. The best part is it's really easy to make and is great over a little brown rice.
12
Dim Sum
Dim Sum is one of those foods that once you try it, you'll always come back for more!
13
Home Brew Kit
Although brewing your own beer is a long tedious process that takes a month and could potential turn into you drinking or throwing away what tastes like cough medicine, when you do finally get the process down, it's a lot of fun. Brewing your own beer saves money and it's a great conversation starter. The first beer I brewed was K├Âlsch and I must say it came out great!
14
ESPN Fantasy Football
If you want to learn about a sport to the point where you're an expert, you need to play fantasy sports. There's nothing like building your own team, playing against friends, and managing a group of some of the best football players in the league. I hope this year I can actually make some money!
15
Pandora Online Radio
Pandora's great if you don't have iTunes on your work computer. All you do is type in a song or artist and Pandora not only plays that song or artist but will play other songs and artists in the some genre. Great way to make it through the work day!

What did you think of this list?

great list! that's the best intro of all time, btw ; ) pandora just never gets old, does it? such a genious service.

I know Pandora is amazing, The only thing I hate is that there's a limit on the amount of songs you can skip, but other than that it's great!

Solid list, Ryan! I would have to agree with The Office being ranked #2. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to rank in on mine, #2 or #3, it's so hard to decide. Meh.
October 23, 2009
Ya that's a tough one I guess it would depend on whats the other thing on your list that would go #2 or #3.

Great call on the Guinness. I don't know what it is, but it really does taste better in Ireland. They must export the crap batches and keep the good stuff at home.
October 23, 2009
Actually I know the answer to why Guinness is better in Ireland. The popularity of the drink in Ireland means that kegs aren't sitting around long. Therefore, the Guinness is almost always fresh and certainly more fresh than overseas since it doesn't have to travel as far. The lines are cleaner -- pub owners in Ireland are visited every three weeks by a Guinness representative who flushes the lines to Guinness kegs. Guinness should be served at room temperature -- an oddity to us who associate the pleasures of beer drinking with its coolness on a hot day. I've noticed that most bars in the States tend to chill their Guinness along with the rest of their beers, which definitely changes the flavor of it.
