I read this book a long time ago at least a couple of times -- and it did have an impact on my life.

George Orwell’s 1984 is perhaps one of the most realistic depictions of an overbearing country state ever written. Try to read the first 50 pages or so to get the hang of this book before deciding to ditch it or finish it. it has a lot of stuff that takes some time to mentally digest properly.

Creepy scary that it could be real, as more predictions come through!

One of my all time favorites. It was ironic to hear president Obama echo "war is peace" theme in his Noble acceptance speech.
