A Quick Tip by TheJohn

It's made 3 appearances in Star Trek and only one was great. Can't win em all. Considerabbly more stylish and tougher looking then it's previous incarnation.

The Enterprise-E A more "traditional" federation design. Its a shme we neve saw these guys during the Dominion War. or the Prometheus

That would have been great, but like in "The Jem 'Hadar" where the Odyssey was destroyed, people in the teaser thought it was the D, and got confused, hence, in the show they didn't want to show another "E" lookalike and have people think it was the Enterprise.

Yeah but when they finally watch the show they will they see thats its not enterprise. *sigh*

I always hated this design. It looked like a shoehorn.

where was the one with the three warp cores attached? I mean I know it appeared in a futuristic episode where (Ryker) # 1 was captain..

That was the Enperprise-D. And that was an alternate timeline I think.

That was in Q's created reality in the series finale of TNG. It had 3 nacelles, phasers atop the bridge module, replaced impulse engines and the fixed point phaser cannon. Riker made a remark that the ship would have been retired as it got old, but he spruced it up to be spaceworthy.
