Most Beautiful Places on Planet Earth

Having been to many parts of the world, many a times, friends will ask me to name a few places which I consider most beautiful. Before making the list, I didn't seriously consider them. However, it's easy to name a few. Here's a list although I'm sure I'd have missed out some since I haven't seen the entire world.
#1 because this is where I see God and experience Eternity. I once wrote on VirtualTourist.com "Trust me... you will experience eternity here." and that's been used by the Arizona State as an ad slogan. Then again, I've also told a friend from Wales whom I met in Cuba over dinner that the most important person I've ever met was God. So, you figure it out for yourself :-)

This is where it took me great pains to come and yet ended up going further than I'd have envisioned. It was just b4 embarking on the ship to Antarctica that I actually made arrangement to go one step further to the Arctic circle right after the Antarctica journey. Yes, I made it to both poles in January 2005 and the rest are all history. Read about my trip to Antarctica & the Arctic Circle and that's not awesome, tell me what is!

Canadian Rockies
Lake Morraine, Lake Louise, Lake Peyto, Columbia Icefield & Banff and all the nature's wonders are here. They can all be easily accessible from Calgary. A mere 2 hour drive. I've been here more than 3x and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it!
Lake Powell
The Glen Canyon Recreational Areas and Lake Powell are simply awesome from the air. It was on a day excursion from Las Vegas to Monument Valley that I was greeted with the most incredible sights I've ever had the fortune to see on a flight (the other being an hour flight around Mt. Everest). Not many have seen the sights from the top but if you do get a chance, I highly recommend it to you. It's simply breathtaking!
Interlaken, Switzerland
Serenity... never feel more at peace with myself anywhere than Switzerland and Interlaken and the surrounding areas like Wengen, Murren are some of the best places to rest oneself and simply be. Lovely lakes and mountains. Jungfrau and the views from Schilthorn are simply unforgettable. Wish I have a chance to go back again right NOW!
Bora Bora
Romantic... most romantic place to have honeymoon!
It is vast, expanse, a little remote and less well know. It can be all yours! You and the nature, at one, on your own in solitude. What a great feeling!
The top of the world feeling. Standing on a 600 m height cliff with nothing to prevent you from falling into the fjord below! It's exhilarating!
Torres Del Paine
Far far away from the rest of the world. Just after the Iraq War. I had this park all to myself!
Iguazu Falls
The sheer power of water and they feel and look like silk curtains!
I thought it so beautiful I contemplated owning a house here! Food is good and weather is lovely. An amazing variety of botany and landscape surrounding it. Nice!
Gaudi, Gaudi and more Gaudi!
Kyoto (city)
Geisha, Cherry Blossom and the smell of old Japan!
A beautiful quaint city. It feels right!
