What inspire a person is very much personal. There is simply no right or wrong. Here is a list of some of things or people who inspire me all these years. What are your inspirations?
He shows the world what creativity means & the power of an imaginative mind. He believes in his vision & despite the fact that he was broke at the end, he still went ahead with his dream. The world is a better place because of him.

What Dreams May Come
To show us through vision & words what love is, what heaven and hell is, what family ties are all about, the directors and actors in What Dreams May Come literally created a whole new world with regards as to how I view life itself. Brilliant!

Richard Bach
He inspires with his words & his love story. Although he's a man like most men are, he's one that inspires when we are down and despair. For that alone, he's a gem!

The Boeing Company
Without Boeing, I wouldn't come across all that has/had inspired me in life. It is instrumental & critical to greater inspirations & aspirations. When I am able to see myself flying, I'm inspired. When I'm high up in the sky, my head clears up and I am on top of the world. Nowhere had I done so more often than on a jet. So, Boeing got onto this list for precisely that reason!
It takes faith & hopes to get here but once you are there, you fuel that inspiration even more so simply because you had done it! Success breeds even more success and that aspires one to go for it!

Richard Bach is Bliss, few books have had a stronger impression on me than Jonathan Livingston Seagull with it's message of individuality and following your own light. I laughed when I saw Boeing there but of course you are right, our lives would sure be more difficult without these modern material marvels. we may have spritual aspirations but we live in a material world.
