I didn't begin to use CD products until I'm a little older. It's not that it's for the matured or anything but rather it was once expensive to me. I was using Clarins for a number of years but with the hike in its prices the last 3 years, I switched over to CD instead. I have since come to love CD skin care. For one thing, its packaging is really nice! For another, it has some very good products, including loose powder and lipstick!

I started my working life with Clarins for a few months. Left the company thereafter because of reasons I've since forgotten! While at the company (it was many years ago & at that time it was a local agent representing Clarins) I was in charge of its samples and with staff prices, I got to try most of Clarins products. They are mostly made from plant extracts and have some excellent products like the Doux Peeling and Bust Gel which no one has been able to rival til today! Its moisturizing lip balm is excellent for the cold weather and those who live in dry areas.

Shu Uemura best item is its cleansing oil. I had since found a cheaper version in Shiseido though. Other products I love from Shu Uemura are lipstick, loose powder & nail polish. Its nail polish is simply the best with a wide range of fashionable colors!

Shiseido's products are pretty mild and best for the Asian skins. I like it when I first started using the Shiseido's skincare when I was just a teenager. But when I was in Canada for my university studies, the product proved to be insufficient for the harsh weather in Canada. That's when I began using Clinique's moisturizer. Clinique cleansing routine is not so great as I feel the soap is way too acidic but its moisturizer is great for extreme cold weather. Shiseido's other great product is its lipstick and nail polish. I still use these 2 products. Love them as much as Shu Uemura's.
Arden has very good foundation, especially the ones that are in mousse form. They are light and one simply doesn't have the feeling that one has applied a thick layer of foundation. For cooler weather, the Ceramide Plump Perfect is another great option.
I don't use that much make up but if you do, Chanel has amazing colors each season. Chanel's eyeshadows are wonderful shades and its lipsticks come in vibrant colors and smooth feel. I love its loose powder as well.
