Oscar to go. And the winner is ...
I put this list up before the Academy Awards night & also at a time when I had only seen about 1/2 of the movies on the list. Now that I've watched 4/5 of them, I'm reordering the list based on preferential basis. It's subjective and according to what I like about the film. Nothing to do with who won what. So, here it goes...

There are consequences in life and war is never one sided. I hate wars. I think people ought to think about their own intolerances rather than to blame others or to defend their own reasons for a war. Ultimately, the evil ones are seldom punished while the innocents were obliterated.
Incidentally, both of these movies are about wars. To me, Avatar takes a step further by showing the better side of mankind. Hurt Locker is harsh imho.
