Outstanding organization led by founder John Wood. RTR is dedicated to fighting illiteracy on a global level, promoting education and gender equality. They have a fantastic, dedicated group of volunteers in cities around the world. They are proactive in their sponsorships and always hosting interesting fundraising and awareness events. My favorite is their Beers for Books, where a restaurant will donate $1 of every beer purchased on a given day.
