I've ridden ALC for the past two years. Day 5 and 6 are the hardest. Making sure you consistently drink water throughout the night is huge

In my second year of college, a college professor of mine introduced the class to the AIDS LifeCycle, which is a 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that happens each year throughout the first week of June.  The ride lasted seven days, and you camped out through various cities such as Santa Maria, Lompoc, Pismo, and Ventura.  When I first heard about it, I knew I definitely wanted to do it.     At first, I did it for the challenge.  Who can say …
