So I've been in Cali my whole my life: San Fran, Sacramento, and now LA. Living anywhere outside of this state seems irreconcilable. I've been in and out of LMU for the last couple years and have come to the realization that this institution and I were meant to be, like a one and only soul-mate that I hate to love. This perfect match has arisen not only from having a lifelong educational career in Catholic schools, but also in LMU's proximity to the entertainment industry. My life revolves around all things film. In both making and viewing movies, I acquire a sense of purpose, art, and knowledge that make up what I would call the closest thing I have to a passion. I don't know what I know about it, but I enjoy helping others in their projects. And writing is the only thing in the world in which I don't have to force myself to sit my ass down and get lost in. Following politics has become an addiction for me. There is always one of the 24-hour news channels going on in the background. While I admit this is not real news, I can't help but be wrapped up in the theatrics and drama that make up our political system. I am always down for long-winded arguments about issues and ideals that end up lasting hours with no one's mind being changed. That being said, I am new to all these new social media stuff and curious as to how this will end up.
