I'm a technology early adopter. I thoroughly enjoy geeking out with the latest hardware, software and electronics. I probably have as much fun setting up, tweaking, and configuring systems as I do actually using the systems. I'm usually more interested in what's on the back of a tv or stereo receiver so I can imagine the possible configurations and potential of a system.
That's not to say that I don't enjoy using what I build. George Lucas said that sound is 50% of a movie experience. I might even go higher. If I'm watching an action movie and the windows aren't shaking, something is wrong (either it's not loud enough, or it's the wrong kind of movie). I'm interested in video games, but more for the sound and visual experience than actual game play -- I guess more specifically I like the technology behind video games.
But you can't spend all your time indoors, so if the sun is out, so am I. As my basketball and running days wind down, I'm always looking for new sports to try. As of late, surfing has become a new obsession. Although I'm still relatively new at it, my determination is strong.
My interests are eclectic, and chances are my
