The Simpsons
Over the last twenty years, I'm sure I've averaged watching at least one Simpsons episode per day. Even though I know most of the lines before they're spoken, I still laugh. "Deep Space Homer" and "Homer vs. the 18th Amendment" are probably my two absolute favorites.
2
Lois, Stewie, Peter, Brian, Meg, Chris & Brian
Family Guy is like "The Simpsons" but without a conscience. Half the jokes are purely for shock value, but what can I say... it makes me laugh. All the characters are great and are funny in their own way.
3
mad men
I'm late to the party on this one, so I've had to catch up using iTunes and Netflix, but I'm pretty hooked. Great acting, writing, and great set designs set in the 50's make for good tv. Hey DirecTV, how about adding AMC in HD?!?!

What would Jack Bauer do? He'd kick ass is what he'd do! Sure, Chloe does some technology magic to help Jack along, but this show is about Jack Bauer and how he can single handedly take down terrorist organizations. If you haven't seen the "Top Jack Bauer Facts" on the internet, do yourself a favor and do a google search.
5
Ninja Warrior
I would LOVE to be on this show! Ninja obstacle course in Japan. How cool is that! The best part is the spirit and camaraderie of the contestants. They'll all rooting for each other to conquer the course. I don't even think there's a prize other than the honor of being called a Ninja Warrior. Sign Me Up!
6
30 Rock
The jokes are quick and subtle in this one so you have to pay attention. I believe Alex Baldwin's true calling is for comedy and he and Tina Fey are great in this show.
7
The Venture Brothers
This is a parody of Johnny Quest and it's hilarious. Lots of random references that appeal to the Gen X era -- or whatever the heck we're called. The Guild of Calamitous Intent. Priceless!
8
The Office
This one took a while to make the list. It still can be difficult to watch at times because it hits a little too close to home, but it's still funny.
9
Lost
This show is so lame. It started off so well, and then it just took a nose dive like flight Oceanic Flight 815... The story is lame, the plot is all over the place, and the characters are sad and forgettable... yet I haven't missed an episdoe. Check out my review: http://lunch.com/t/7pu Daddy's gotta watch his stories...
10
Michael & Michael Have Issues
This is a new show and I hope it gets picked up for more episodes. Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black created an entire series of awkward moments. "It's okay, you didn't know. We just don't hit our children".
11
American Dad
What? Another cartoon? This is like Family Guy Lite (and by the same creator). It's good filler.
12
Attack of the Show
It's kinda like news... not really. Lots of gadget and entertainment information.
13
This show is damn funny. The more you watch it, the more you laugh. I'm so bummed this show was cancelled, but I still record the reruns and watch them when I need a laugh. Here's hoping a movie is on its way.
14
Aqua Teen Hungerforce
This show is completely random at best, but I tend to like that.

Great, great inclusion of Ninja Warrior. Watched an episode with my son this morning (good father/toddler bonding). I love that show. I would fail on the first obstacle if I was a contestant, however. Have you seen the "salmon ladder" obstacle. good lord.

Salmon ladder?? Sounds like there's some new episodes waiting for me on my Tivo! Sweet!
