I'm no Beatles fan but I love the Cartoon the Yellow Submarine and I got it as a Toy. See here. . - ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corgi-BT78211-Beatles-Yellow-Submarine/dp/B001IYOYFE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289580171&sr=1-1 )

I had a four foot robot called Big Louie. This robot fired rockets and darts, had a claw grabber hand, a whistle and eyes that lit up. I used to have battles with my brother with it.

I still miss my old anime-based toys like Voltes V and Mazinger Z. That Voltes V toy (5 planes that become 1 robot) is now worth more than $ 400--my Dad only bought them for $ 20 in the 70's.

The toy I remember and love most is my Anyuta doll, I wish I had a photo on me. It was a large plastic doll, about 18" tall, baby clothes would fit her and my mother gave me some of the clothes my sister and I wore as babies. She has eyes that would open and close and she would cry when you tip her over. I don't remember having many toys, but I loved the ones I had. I had a ton of books though and loved to read! I still have many of my childhood books that my mother thankfully brought to the States when we immigrated.
