I WONDER WHY SNAKES SHED THEIR SKIN is a children's nature book that attempts to answer some of the larger questions that children have about reptiles. All total there are forty questions answered in the book. They range from the tile, "Why do snakes shed their skins?"to "Are frogs and newts reptiles?" to "What makes a crocodile smile?" to "Are there still dragons on Earth?". The book has illustrations of each of the animals being discussed. In addition there are dozens of little cartoon illustrations that are accompanied with a fun fact. I WONDER WHY SNAKES SHED THEIR SKIN is short, concise, and full of information. It's a book that children who have an interest in reptiles are sure to enjoy.
