A very cool introduction to the series and to the characters. These episodes are pretty campy at times but the action is still really cool. There are also some nice debuts featuring the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Devastator. The top notch voice acting starring Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, and Chris Latta add to the fun.

About this movie

Wiki

The setup for Transformers is that there are clearly two distinct factions: the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. Both sides are from a race called Transformers - robots that can change into vehicles, mechanical devices and even animal forms. The two factions waged war for eons on their home planet of Cybertron. Then, 4 million years ago, a group from each side crash-landed on prehistoric Earth, reawakening in the present day to do battle once more.
